1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 cup whole milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cheese, salt, and pepper.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and beaten egg.

4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

5. Divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces and shape each piece into a small ball.

6. Roll each ball in the panko breadcrumbs to coat, then place on the prepared baking sheet.

7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown.

8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm.

- For an extra crispy coating, try chilling the shaped bites in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking. - Perfect as a companion for your favorite TV shows, just like I used to enjoy when I'd get to watch TV after eating. - To make this recipe even more special, serve the Cozy TV Time Bites in a bowl with your favorite dipping sauce, just like you're having a special TV-time snack - and don't forget to savor the moment, just like I did when I started eating a lot of evening snacks to enjoy my TV time.
